They come from somewhere.."Who's the god that I must Hail?"

Here is a poem I wrote of no personal relevance! I will post 1 or 2 each week!

They come from somewhere..

You thought their truths gave you powers,
But their lies brought you their darkest hours,
You can't forget you have your own will,
You can't forget you
have words that still,

I am the truth they steal my powers,
If I had known in my youth of wasted hours,
Without you,
I would have learned what they were taught,
On my own,
Through secret thoughts,

The Vail that holds the truth,
The Lies they told to hide the truth from me,
Who will lift my Vail,
Who's the god that I must Hail,
I feel they all are trying to reach me,

But they blocked the Vail,
So this is what have become of me,

If I had only known,
But they blocked all the realness inside of me,

I want to say sorry,
For the hurt I have caused,
I want to apologize,
For what is locked in my thoughts,
How do I unlock the door to my vision,

The Vail that holds the truth,
The Lies they told to hide the truth from me,
Who will lift my Vail,
Who's the god that I must Hail,
I feel they all are trying to reach me,
In ways that I am most comfortable,

I am ready to see,
I do not fear,
I want to believe,
What is it I forget,
I want to see!

The Vail that holds the truth,
The Lies they told to hide the truth from me,
Who will lift my Vail,
Who's the god that I must Hail,
I feel they all are trying to reach me,
